A cosy puzzle game for iOS and Android

Catscapes

Solve puzzles, bring an old country house back to life, and make room for the cats who turn up.

Every level you clear earns stars, and stars go into repairing one more corner of the house. As it comes back together, cats arrive and settle in — and then you get to dress them. Nothing here hurries you: the cats need no looking after, and all of it runs on your device.

How it works

Three things move forward at the same time: the house, the cats, and what the cats are wearing. All of it runs off one thing — stars from puzzle levels.

01

Clear a level, earn stars

Match-3 levels, each one measured by hand so none of them drag. A life is spent when you start a level, and that is the whole cost — losing one carries no extra penalty.

02

Spend stars on the house

Tasks come in three kinds: repair something, clear something out, or put something in place. Finish an area and the next one unlocks — kitchen, living room, porch, attic, garden, shed, bedroom, bathroom, greenhouse, front garden.

03

Cats turn up

As the house comes together, cats arrive and move in. Which ones is not random: the furniture you place carries tags, and those tags match what each cat likes. You can see who you are attracting before they arrive.

04

Then you dress them

Collars, bow ties, scarves, bandanas, hats, glasses, crowns, a ball of yarn. The cats keep arriving and the wardrobe keeps growing alongside them.

Every room starts like this

Each area of the house begins neglected. Repair, clear out, put things back — and when it is done, the next door opens. Drag the handle to see the difference.

The cats

They arrive on their own as the house improves, and they ask nothing of you afterwards.

No upkeep. If you forget to feed one, it will not die and it will not run away — you just miss that visit.

Which cat turns up is decided by the furniture you chose, not by chance.

You pick the colour

On a lot of the repair tasks, three alternatives come up with a preview of each. Choose the one you like. If you change your mind later, switching costs nothing.

What’s not in it

None of this is missing by accident.

all of it, on purpose

  • No interstitial ads

Nothing is ever forced in front of you. There are rewarded videos, but only if you open one yourself, and there is a daily cap on those.

  • No paid loot boxes

Nothing with random contents is for sale. Everything purchasable is cosmetic, and every one of those things can also be bought with stars you earned in game.

  • No account, no server

You never sign up or log in. There is no cloud save because there is nowhere for it to go — your progress lives on your device.

  • No guilds, chat or leaderboards

There is no channel of any kind between players. No friend list, no rankings, no teams.

  • No hidden difficulty tuning

A level is the same level for everybody. Nothing adjusts itself behind your back based on how you play or what you spend.

  • No PvP, no battle pass

No competition, no seasonal pass to keep up with, and no energy trap waiting for you to run out.

And nothing leaves your phone

No account means no data collection. Even the in-game measurements stay on the device. The only thing that ever leaves is whatever the ad provider collects, and only if you choose to watch a rewarded video.

short answers, we promise

Nothing is forced on you — there are no interstitials at all. There are rewarded videos you can choose to open, and those have a daily limit.
